It is one of mine favorite exercise for targeting upper abdominal muscle. while doing Abs crunch on mat you can feel the burn in your abdominal muscles. You can perform this exercise easily on mat or even on flat bench, all up to your comfortable level.
How to do Abdominal Crunches on mat Properly?
Instructions:
Step 1. Start with lie down on the mat and bend your knees. Keep your feet flat on the floor.
Step 2. Hold the hands at the temples. It is your starting position.
Step 3. Now Slowly Breathe out and lift your shoulder blades ups. Feeling the contraction on the abdominal muscles. squeeze here for 2-3 seconds.
Step 4. Now Breathe in and go back to starting position again.
Step 5. Repeat the same for complete the set.
Important Key Points:
Never place your hands behind your head and never perform this exercise with hurry.
